In our daily life, while buildings themselves simply aim to satisfy our functional needs in living, working, and entertainment, architectural designs need to take into consideration the various features of disparate regions, like sunshine, wind speed, temperature, humidity, ventilation, daylighting, surrounding green belt. Architecture can create a comfortable environment as well as accomplish energy conservation. Delta Electronics Foundation is devoted for a long time to tackling the climate change problem. Recently, we worked with the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) of Taiwan government and the Taiwan Architecture and Building Center, to build the "Green BIM" database. It will help to create a more low-carbon, energy-saving, ecological, and environment-friendly living.

In this issue's "Special Report," we are happy to report a successful case from academia. MCISBU has helped National Chung Cheng University (NCCU) with its green server room improvement project. In addition to saving about 258 tons of carbon emissions, NCCU, the current network center of the Yunlin and Chiayi regions, has become a model for other universities. It continues to spread the ideas of energy conservation and carbon reduction, and to reinforce the philosophy of low-carbon campus.

In "Brand People", we have an exclusive interview with IABG General Manager Andy Liu, who spoke about the plans and strategies of IABG after the re-organization and his insights and thoughts about brand management. In order to keep abreast with the drastically and rapidly changing market, Delta smart manufacturing strengthens its sales competitiveness by offering consultant diagnosis services in addition to hardware equipment and software platform. Recently, it has begun to design the next generation automated production line, as an upgrade towards smart manufacturing with the aim of transitioning from "automated" to "smart" manufacturing. In this issue, "About DSM" brings first-hand information and invites you to take a closer look.

Delta released its electrical vehicle (EV) charging solution at the Elecrama exhibition in India. It could be used in locations such as parking lots, shopping malls, and business centers. Furthermore, Delta announced for the first time the core value of an overall performance upgrade by using the IoT micro-grid concept from equipment and devices, through smart buildings, to infrastructures. Meanwhile, Delta display team has once again built a dazzling 3D light sculpture fireworks shows for the Fo Guang Shan "Buddha Museum" during the Chinese New Year holiday. Also, Delta IA team was honored with multiple awards lately due to its outstanding products. Moreover, Delta has recently begun to collaborate with National Central University, National Tsing Hua University, and National Cheng Kung University, to create a supply chain of technology talents. We will be sharing all the details with you in this issue's "Brand Circle."
