The Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) is one of the world’s most trusted evaluations for corporate sustainability today. Long concerned with climate issues and devoted to environmental education and green building promotion, Delta was recently honored in the 2018 DJSI world index as an Industry Leader in the category of Electronic Equipment, Instruments and Components Industry. Together with the first prize of the “Corporate Social Responsibility Awards of CommonWealth Magazine” we just received, the third in a row, these recognitions demonstrate our consistent, outstanding performance and solid capabilities in the pursuit of sustainable development under severe challenges of global climate change and competition from companies across nations.
Delta has been developing smart streetlight solutions since 2010, with more than 600,000 LED streetlights installed around the world thus far. In this issue’s “Special Report”, we will cover how Delta's smart streetlight brand managed to go international and utilized functions such as remote monitoring, maintenance management, and lighting control to have street lighting in the city woven into a dense communication network, making it the backbone of Jakarta's for planning its smart city blueprint.

Delta also uses its solutions in building automation, fan, heat dissipation, renewable energy, and energy efficiency to help the Sino-French team of Xiamen University to achieve the third place in an international solar competition.
